When managing a displaced population living in a camp, humanitarian organizations must provide access to a variety of rights and services for the camp population. In a camp management/ camp coordination (CCCM) role, IEDA Relief is responsible for coordinating the humanitarian actors that provide various forms of assistance in a camp, taking a holistic approach to address gaps and prevent duplicate efforts. As part of CCCM, IEDA Relief maintains close relationships with the service providers in the camp as well as with elected representatives of the camp population to identify concerns and ensure that services effectively and efficiently meet the needs of the population. IEDA Relief also facilitates information sharing among humanitarian partners in the camp and with coordinating UN agencies.

IEDA Relief is the main implementing partner of UNHCR in Burkina Faso, responsible for Camp Management, Community Services, and Food Distribution. The Community Service program focuses on building capacities, implementing income generating activities, identifying people with special needs, and promoting community engagement to help end violence against women.

IEDA Relief Burkina Faso is active in ensuring the well being and development of the Malian refugees as they wait for a safe return to their home country.
